Forgotten

I realise I have not blogged in almost 3 months... time realli flies.. as one of my fren says...time dun crawl or walk..time flies. Yup a lot has happened during these 3 months..

When I started this blog, I have a lot of ideas on how to make this blog alive etc. Sad to say, all these ideas start to die of natural death. So i am trying my best to revive them and well it is certainly best that I update my blog consistently!!

The reason why I suddenly have the urge to start blogging again is due to the course I attended today. The name of the course is "Social and Dining Etiquette". The course is refreshing to me as it is out of my comfort IT and sports zone.

I must say..the trainer is definitely professional. From the way she talks.. wow..it is really impressive. She taught us the ways to eat during fine dining and some of the minor points to look out for when striking conversation...

Fine dining... it is a strange and funny thing..who the hell uses fork to eat rice and spoon to eat spagetti???? *rolls eyes* well those people who pay lots of $$ for fine dining do that..we are trained to eat butter rice using the back of the fork.. amazing.. and the mini minor details to take note during eating.. I muz say it is a challenge to me especially when i am a fast eater..

And the trainer was talking about singlish.. which is quite funny and true.. now then i know almond is pronounced as "ah men" and not "l men". You dont pronounce the l although the l is there... so why do you have the l there in the first place? As she says.. "English is such a interesting language".

*I suddenly have a rush of things to blog.. but I will slowly blog them down.. I promise I will update this blog frequently *twists fingers*

Life

Several events have happened in my life recently... It really saddens me to experience these events... With my dad's injury and my god sister illness.. Now i am starting to question my principle which I have been holding on for years : Is life really fair to everyone? Now i am beginning to differ....

Interesting episode

Its been long since I last blogged...This blog post is about something that i saw yesterday

I was waiting for bus 23 at the bus stop in front of sim lim square. Suddenly I notice this quite tall guy (think around 1.75m)... quite fleshy...one look and you know that he is like those taiwan zai nan. No.. no..I am not insulting him... I am just trying my best to describe him.

So there he is.. and he suddenly sits down on the bus stop seat beside a girl (Girl A)..and he starts looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking staring at the girl... the way he sits besides the girl machiam he is the girl's bf like tat which was my initial thought

Then bus 23 came... me.. zai nan & girl A boarded the bus. I was sitting at the back of the lower deck. Zai nan was standing in the lower deck near the tv mobile area. Suddenly, he walks up to this girl (Girl B) who was sitting in the lower deck. He grabs the standing pole beside her and starts looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking staring at Girl B. He even bent down to try to make eye contact with Girl B who obviously knows wat is happening and keep looking at her ds lite. Zai nan even put his finger around his mouth while looking at her... *fierce* while Girl B continues to play with her ds lite

Then suey suey got traffic jam on PIE...Girl B sianz 0.5... moreover her ds lite like no battery liaoz~~ siaoz liaoz...then she kept her ds lite in the bag and looked in front...while Zai nan was
looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking staring at Girl B ALL THIS WHILE~

Then suddenly Zai Nan tapped Girl B and it seems like he ask her whether can be friends or not.. Girl B says no and straightaway shut her eyes and tries to sleep..and Zai Nan oso gei siaoz and sleep while standing...but he soon opened his eyes and continue looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking staring at Girl B.

Finally Girl B alighted from the bus...and Zai Nan looks at her with disappointment as she walks down to the exit...

I kinda pity the zai nan...I feel all he wants is to be friends with Girl B.. but he does not know how to express it out properly.. Sometimes the intentions are good but somehow the expressions transform the intentions into something else~

You might wonder where the hell Girl A is after she boarded the bus...well she was sitting at the back of the lower deck near me..and she even took snapshots (or videos.. i dunno) of the zai nan looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking and looking staring at Girl B. She even giggled while taking the snapshots.

This episode manage to keep me awake for the 45 mins bus ride.. haha

A piece of paper went flying out of nowhere and dropped on the floor in the MRT.

Auntie picked it up and read it.

Auntie asked a tourist who was sitting whether the paper belongs to her.

The tourist shook her head.

The tourist then exited the train together with her friends.

And the inconsiderate Auntie simply threw the paper back on the floor again.

And the piece of paper went flying again~

2008

have not been blogging for few weeks le... ever since turn of 2008.. have been busy wif work..seems like everything is planned out for the month of january.. oso fell sick during this period of time...

so what has happened?

- I had a inner struggle with myself regarding work. Well I managed to get over it now.. haha partly because I managed to setup something successfully... haha~~

- I had a realli pekchek time with transport these few weeks...got a lot of points to grumble about transport...here it goes~

=> if you ever notice at the bus stop, there are people always flagging the bus. I always thought that flagging the bus means that you wish to inform the driver that you want to board the bus...AND NOT ASKING THE DRIVER TO STOP THE BUS IN FRONT OF YOU~~... when the bus is approaching..you can see a lot of people flagging their hands.. n keep shaking them... *shakes head* How in the world can the meaning of bus flagging turn to that?

=> As I take public transport this week..i keep wondering whether singapore population is really 4.5 million.. i mean..it should be much much more rite... seeing every bus that passes my bus stop being fully occupied every other morning... having to squeeze into the NEL trains every morning...seeing all the seats in the train taken up at 10pm every other night.. sometimes when i see a fully packed train.. i think whether it is better to have a car of my own..but come to think of it..having a car realli empties your wallet...with ERPs popping up everywhere..even in heartlands.. imagine the feeling of paying ERP whenever you just wish to go home... that is a damn sad thing...

=> Read in the new paper about ppl buying cars because of the cab fare hike... seems like is a vicious cycle.. more cars -> higher erp -> more ppl taking public transport (where does all those ppl come from???) -> higher transport fees -> higher cab fares -> more cars -> .......

- tats all about transport... recently a relative of mine just passed away..ermm he can be considered a distant relative i shld say...nonetheless.. kinda feel sad..especially when he has been leading a very healthy life.. sighz...

- finally received my credit cards this month.. now then i know the feeling of having a credit card..it is really really very easy to overspend when using credit cards.. is so easy...just autograph on receipts will do..

- attended a feedback session on my work and company.. i must say for now i am pretty satisfied with what i am doing =)
